About
The Background
Gregory's musical roots run deep as he was born into a family of opera singers, In Heidelberg, Germany. At the time his talented young parents made a life for themselves performing all over the globe. His voice was cultivated from an early age by his dedicated Father, who has an impressive resume as a lyric Tenor and voice teacher. At age 14 Greg followed his father home to the States where he continued his development. Today, as a freelance musician, he entrusts the growth and advancement of his gift to his father until this very day.

Bio
Gregory Geis made his Operatic debut in 2011, as Lenski in Tchaikovsky's Eugene Onegin, with Opera Slavica in New York City. In November 2018, he sang the role of Radames in Verdi’s Aida with Gateway Classical Music Society at the Good Shepherd Faith Presbyterian Church at Lincoln Center. In March 2016 Gregory sang his first Alfredo in Brooklyn's own 'Opera in the Slope' production of Verdi's La Traviata. From 2014 to 2015 highlights included Don Ottavio with OIS production of Don Giovanni, The Duke in Rigoletto, Don Jose in Carmen and Arturo in Lucia di Lammermoor.
Gregory was a finalist, and scholarship winner in the
2011 Forte International Music Competition, at Carnegie Hall, NY. Mr Geis has performed as the featured Tenor in concerts at the Dorothy Jones Theatre in Manhattan, at the Singers Forum, as well as NJ's 'The Dome at The Manor' in West Orange. Earlier highlights include singing the National Anthem at Shea Stadium for the New York Mets. He was a Spring 2012 Resident Artist with Underworld Productions Opera, performing in concert at St. Anthony's of Padua Church, The Hewlett-Woodmere Public Library and other venues. Gregory has performed in Concert for Underworld Productions Opera at the National Arts Club at Gramercy Park and the Bernie Wohl Center in Manhattan. Gregory sang for
